How to Solve Trust Issues In Relationship
Trust issue or trust problem is a condition where someone finds it difficult to trust others. Trust issues can occur to family, friends, and even partners. Trust issues usually a form of trauma to the past, such as an unhappy childhood, and someone who has lied to or betrayed.
Several factors cause a person to have a trust issue in their relationship, such as having a sense of anxiety and always having negative thinking about their partner. These things can make a person overthinking, which can have side effects on one's mental health. Trust issues in a relationship usually start because of being hurt, for example being cheated on, or other traumatic events. It can make you worse off and stress for a long time so that a person is always careful in everything and that will affect his activities.
So how do you eliminate or avoid trust issues in a relationship?
from several sources that I have met, here are some things to do.
1. Knowing the main problem
What you need to do first is to understand the root of the trust issues that you are feeling right now. It might sound like the same thing between understanding the background of the trust issues and their causes.
It can happen because you already think it is the biggest wound that can not be healed, or you can't forgive yourself for trusting others too much, and it could be other wounds besides the relationship that underlies it.
2. Don't let it haunt you
Don't let trust issues haunt you. Any traumatic things that disturb you in the present are the result of yor thinking that is constantly haunted by pain at that time. This thing will damage you both mentally and even physically. You will experience insomnia and possibly a tendency to self-harm. If you have been in this abyss for too long, what you can do next is "file" this event in the brain into insignificant things.
3. Learn to forgive yourself and others
Sometimes it is hard for us to get out of a condition that is less calming because we are not able to forgive ourselves first.
Forgiveness is important in releasing negative energy and releasing burdens in the heart and mind. When you learn to forgive yourself, you will feel more relieved.
forgiving is important so that you don't bring past scars to your next, happier relationship. After that, don't forget to forgive other people who are involved in it.
4. Communication
In a relationship, communication is very important. Therefore, we must be open and honest with each other. If something makes you uncomfortable, it is best to discuss it immediately in an adult manner which can reduce your experience of trust issues with your partner.
5. Be Happy
Happiness comes from yourself, that if you feel depressed or unhappy, then all you have to do is change your mindset pattern to become a happier person. If in a relationship you Feel Unhappy, and if you have given your partner a chance to change but are wasted, this is the time for you to decide that you deserve to be happy in your own way.
To sum up, everything that has been stated for my opinion is everyone will have a trust issue at the time in a relationship, this is important for us to be able to control ourselves and learn to understand as well as learn to trust each other in our partner.
